Alcohology on the Rocks is a mixology blog created by friends and alcohol aficionados Rob Burnett and Zach Kniebel. After months of exchanging cocktail recipes, experiments and ideas, the two decided to team up and share their creations with the world.

A “hobbytual” craft cocktail bartender, Zach began to experiment with craft cocktails in 2016, after moving into a tiny apartment with his future wife, Sharon. Now happily married, the two have a wet bar, a dry bar and a bar cart on the first floor and are currently planning a wet bar for their game room. When a friend recently asked why he needs so many bars, Zach replied “because I keep running out of room!”
Beyond the mixture, Zach is known to place significant focus on the ice he uses in his cocktails. From clear ice cubes to one-piece ice sticks, and spheres with suspended herbs to ice made with color-changing water, Zach works to ensure that everything he puts in the glass adds to cocktail experience.
